Quality Review: We may periodically review chat, videos and voice transcripts Listenr agent ( when flagged ) for quality assurance, safety, and prevention of misuse. Aggregated and anonymized data may also be used for research and development while upholding strict privacy and confidentiality standards. 

Accessing Services: Providing Personal Information is required for account creation, therapy sessions, wellness programs, and other platform interactions.

  • Paid Services: Billing details (e.g., name, address, credit card information) for payment processing.

  • Listener and Therapist Applications: Applicants must provide Personal Information, which is securely stored. Additional privacy terms apply to applicants.

  • Mental Health Services: Information shared during sessions or while using therapeutic tools.

  • Public Forums or Chats: Information voluntarily disclosed in public areas may be visible to others. We discourage sharing sensitive details in such spaces.

  • Log Data: Usage data collected for engagement analytics and service optimization.

  • Surveys & Assessments: Optional participation to improve content and Services.

  • Information Requests: Data provided when subscribing to updates or communications from Listenr.

  • Technical Support: Information shared when contacting support for assistance.

8. Data Retention

Personal Information is retained as long as your account is active or necessary to fulfill service obligations.

  • Private messages: retained up to 1 year.

  • Group chats: retained up to 30 days.

  • Forum posts: retained at the discretion of moderators.
    Accounts inactive for over one year may have data purged at Listenr’s discretion.

Our Services may include links to third-party websites or tools. Listenr is not responsible for the content, policies, or data practices of these entities. Users engaging with third-party services do so at their own discretion and should review respective privacy policies.

10. Nondiscrimination

Listenr upholds a strict policy against discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender expression, or military status in all activities and operations.

11. Children’s Data

Listenr complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  • Services are intended for users aged 18 years and above.

  • Users aged 13–17 may participate only with verified parental consent.

  • If a user under 18 provides Personal Information without consent, Listenr will promptly delete the data.

12. Therapists as Mandated Reporters

Therapists are legally required to report suspected abuse of children or vulnerable adults. Personal Information disclosed during therapy sessions is voluntary and only shared when imminent harm to self or others is evident.

13. Our Role as Data Controller

Listenr acts as the Data Controller for Personal Information collected through its Services, determining how and why data is processed. Third parties acting under our instructions serve as Data Processors, handling information solely for authorized purposes.
