Failure to adhere to our terms, policies, or in cases of suspected misconduct, may result in suspension or termination of access.

Intellectual Property:
Your use of our services does not grant ownership of any intellectual property rights related to the platform or its content. You must obtain prior written permission from Listenr before using any content, branding, or logos associated with our services.

Content Responsibility:
You are solely responsible for any content you post. While we may review content for policy compliance, please note that we do not review all submissions. Listenr reserves the right to remove or restrict any content that violates our policies or applicable laws.

Communications:
Listenr may send you announcements, administrative messages, and other relevant information. You may opt out of certain non-essential communications.

Mobile Use:
When accessing our services via mobile devices, ensure your use does not distract you or compromise your adherence to traffic and safety regulations.

Listening and Therapy Services

Emergency Use:
Our services are not designed for emergencies. Listenr agents are not trained to manage crisis situations. If you are in crisis, have suicidal thoughts, or are facing a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency helpline or authorities immediately.

Listener and Therapist Relationships:
Listeners and therapists operate as independent professionals and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Listenr but are onboarded after due background verification and Identity check. When using their services, you are responsible for evaluating their competence and suitability for your needs.

Data Review:
For quality control, safety, and prevention of misuse, Listenr may periodically review anonymized data from online therapy interactions. Aggregated transcript data may also be used for research and development while maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy standards.

No Guarantees:
Listenr makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, availability, or effectiveness of our services, listeners, therapists, or their guidance. Your experience with listeners and therapists is subjective and remains your responsibility.

Verification:
Listenr does verify the qualifications or credentials of listeners which includes background verification and identity checks before onboarding to platform. For therapists, while licenses and qualifications are verified, users are encouraged to independently assess their suitability.

Payments:
Payments made through the platform go directly to therapists. Listenr may charge a platform usage fee; however, we are not the service providers for therapy sessions but its only "listening ears" platform . Platform usage fees are paid by listener, not by users.

Chatbots

Cutting-Edge Technology:
Listenr utilizes advanced technologies, including machine learning and intelligent algorithms, to provide limited, interactive chatbot features.

Responsibility:
You are responsible for assessing the relevance and appropriateness of chatbot interactions for your needs. Listenr’s role is limited to providing access to these features for informational purposes only.

Your Listenr Account

User Account:
To access our services, you must have a Listenr account. You may create either a member or listener account and may choose to remain anonymous, use an alias, or disclose your real name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activity under your account. Report any unauthorized access immediately to support@listenr.in

Privacy

Privacy Policy:
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how your personal data is handled and protected. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

About Software in Our Services

Software Use:
Some of our services may include downloadable software that updates automatically. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of our services or software unless permitted by law or authorized in writing by Listenr.

Modifying and Terminating Our Services

Service Changes:
We continually strive to improve our services, which may involve adding, removing, or modifying features. Listenr reserves the right to suspend, discontinue, or alter services as necessary.

Termination:
You may discontinue using our services at any time. Listenr may also terminate or suspend access, apply limitations, or modify service terms at its discretion.

While we endeavor to provide services with reasonable care and skill, Listenr makes no specific warranties regarding their accuracy, reliability, or functionality. All services are provided on an “as is” basis, without any express or implied warranties.

Liability for Our Services

Limited Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Listenr and its affiliates are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or for any indirect, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service, or, if applicable, the cost of resupplying the service.

Unforeseeable Loss:
Listenr and its affiliates will not be responsible for any loss or damage that could not have been reasonably foreseen.

Business Use of Our Services

Business Acceptance:
If you are using our services on behalf of a business or organization, that entity agrees to these terms and shall indemnify Listenr and its affiliates against any claims, losses, or damages arising from its use of the services.

These terms are governed by the laws of Chennai, India. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chennai, India, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
