1. Introduction
At Listenr.in, we are committed to providing a reliable and compassionate listening experience. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms under which users (callers and listeners) may cancel sessions, subscriptions, or purchases, and the conditions under which refunds may be issued. By using Listenr.in or the Listenr mobile application ('the Platform'), you agree to the terms described below.
2. Definitions
Caller: A registered user who purchases credits or subscriptions to access listening sessions.
Listener: A registered user who provides listening services through the Platform.
Session: A live voice interaction between a caller and a listener.
Credits: Virtual units purchased by callers and used to pay for listening sessions.
Subscription: A recurring plan that provides call credits or benefits for a fixed period (e.g., monthly).
3. Session Cancellation Policy
3.1 Caller-Initiated Cancellations
Instant Calls (on-demand sessions): Once a call has started and credits have been deducted, the session cannot be canceled or refunded. If the call disconnects within 1 minute due to a technical issue, the user may request a refund of the deducted credits by contacting support.
Scheduled Sessions: Callers may cancel a scheduled session at least 2 hours before the start time to receive a full credit refund. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable, unless caused by a verified technical error or listener unavailability.
3.2 Listener-Initiated Cancellations
If a listener cancels a scheduled session, the caller will receive a full refund of credits used for that session. Repeated cancellations by listeners may result in account suspension or deactivation.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:
- Technical issues that prevent the session from connecting or completing.
- Service unavailability due to listener no-show.
- Accidental duplicate credit purchases or billing errors.
- Verified system malfunction or platform downtime.
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Completed or partially completed sessions.
- Dissatisfaction with listener performance (unless verified misconduct).
- Unused credits or expired subscriptions.
5. Refund Process
1. Submit a Request: Users can request a refund by contacting support@listenr.in within 7 days of the transaction or session.
2. Verification: Each request will be reviewed by the Listenr support team within 5–7 business days.
3. Approval and Reimbursement: If approved, refunds will be credited back to the original payment method or as in-app credits within 7–10 business days.
6. Subscription Cancellations
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time from the user’s account settings. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing cycle. Credits obtained through a subscription remain valid until their expiration date.
7. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
If a caller fails to join a scheduled session within 10 minutes of the start time, the session will be marked as completed, and credits will not be refunded. If a listener fails to attend a scheduled session, the caller will automatically receive a full credit refund.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
Listenr reserves the right to issue discretionary refunds or credits in exceptional cases, such as verified medical emergencies, fraud, or platform errors, at its sole discretion.
9. Changes to This Policy
Listenr.in reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website or app. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
